Hi Community,
Can anyone advise me if the ethernet port on this extender is for connectivity to the extended network or its for extending an existing network?? I have an office external from my home, and i have an electrician who is going to run CAT6 cabling between the room in the house where my router/modem are. What i want is to use the cable to extend the network for the devices in my office

Either?
You can hardwire the extender in and run it in access point mode. It'd be faster than in extender mode.
Or you can use it to connect devices to.
