Need longer range extender
I am a novice.
I have the above items. Power line 1200 (x 2) and a range extender although mine has the tag ex6130 not ex6120 as confirmed.
I need to get Wi-Fi at least 100m further from the router now as well as in the house. The current extender does not receive Wi-Fi so far away.
can I buy a compatible netgear extender that will work for me as a plug in?

Re: Need longer range extender
No. You won't be able to broadcast that far. The broadcast power is set by the fcc and it has been maxed out for a while.
What you could look at is a point to point system like netgear air bridge. It can connect point to point like that and then you can put an access point or extender (in access point mode) at the other end.
