Netgear WiFi Extenders

Have just changed my broadband supplier and have a new router, I am Trying to connect my netgear N300 extender and all i get is a message saying bad password. All other devices have connected to the router using the same wifi password but the extender wont connect...any suggestions please?

1. what router do you have? 

2. what extender is it? N300 is a speed, not a model

3. what firmware is on the extender?

Did you set it up using the push button WPS option? 

If so, factory reset the extender  and set it up using the installation assistant.

To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
