Network Printer over WN300RP not reachable
I have a WNDR3700 which is connected to my cable modem in the basement. And to improve my wireless lan I installed a WN3000RP in the living room. Since then I have for the first time good wifi reception everywhere. But unfortunately one issues still remains. We have a network printer (wire connected to the WNDR3700) which always worked but now as soon as I'm connected to the repeater wlan I'm not anymore able to see it or use it.
Does anyone know why this could be?
Thanks for any advice
FYI my wifi configs:
-Both share the same SSID (only using the 2.4GHz on WNDR3700)
-Both on the same wifi channel. I had that differently but then I got constantly dropped out of the repeater wlan
-WPA2-PSK[AES] on both

Re: Network Printer over WN300RP not reachable
Yes I can ping it and also see the status homepage of the printer in the browser.
I suspect that its because the WN3000RP does not support bonjour, or does it?
I only tried to print with my network printer with a mac book.
I will go and check if this issue is also present with my linux laptop.

use IP to connect instead of bonjour, if it can not find it .

Re: Network Printer over WN300RP not reachable
That worked but not directly.
I had to configure the printer in the WDR3700 WLAN using the IP and then it would regognize it also in the WN3000RP WLAN.
