Using my Extender through an ethernet cable or as a standard wifi router
Hi , Good Evening . My name is Jeremiah and I'm trying to stretch my wifi to the o the other side of my house. I did the usuall setup through the extender going through the wizard and all, but wasn't getting the desired results. I have an ethernet cord connected to the home router and plugged in the back of the extender. Shouldn't there be an internet connection coming out of the extender through the ethernet cable. Is there a setting that I have to change to get the internet to come the ethernet cable. The number 1 is lighted up and the internet icon on my computer says that there is a internet connection, but when I try to visit pages. it gives me a DNS server issue or something like that. It basically wont let me go to any of the pages. What am I doing wrong. Help me!
