hi
i have a problem with the internet connection when i'm connected with the repeater WN3000RP.
Router Settings
DHCP activ
192.168.1.1
255.255.255.0
DHCP range: 192.168.1.3 - 192.168.1.99
SSID: WLAN
WPA-Key
Mac-Filter activ
all mac-adresses who needed are allowed (inc. WN3000RP)
broadcast hiden
WN3000RP Settings
SSID: WLAN_EXT
WPA-Key
static-ip:
192.168.1.2
255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.1.1
DNS: 192.168.1.1
Wlan Acesspoint activ
Mac-Filter activ
all mac-adresses who needed are allowed (inc. Router)
broadcast hiden
Client Config
SSID: WLAN_EXT
WPA-Key
client get's no IP from DHCP no connection to mywifiext.net
if static
192.168.1.100 (outa DHCP range)
255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.1.2
dns: 192.168.1.2
connection to mywifiext.net OK
but there's no internet connection
what i'm doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

Your workstation Gateway and DNS servers are configured to the wrong IPs.
Use 192.168.1.1 for both of these IPs at the workstation, as this is the address of the down stream router. The WN3000RP acts as a Network Bridge not a Router....When it Works that is! 😉
