Works OK but recently RED client warning light comes on for 10 or twenty secs. although iPad contnues to work OK. I have not moved anythng since extender was installed 3 months ago. It is uaslly always green unless I move the ipad well out of range.
The extender is warning you that the connection to the client is poor. The connection may still be established but speeds may not be optimal. You may need to move the extender closer to the client, but don't move it so far that the router LED turns red.
