Extender modeel 3000 RP was working fine until TW installed new router/ modem. Now extender doesn't work or even show  on menu. The first and third lights work  but the link rate status stays dark. I have hi tthe factory reset button as well.WAould appreciate responsess to recognize that I am not teck savy in the least:(

What's the exact model number of the extender?

The extender may need reconfiguration in order to get it to work with the new router/modem.

I suggest that you use a paper clip when resetting it. When you push the reset, it should show blinking power light or the power light will turn amber. Once the power light turns green then it should have restored settings of the extender to default and you should be able to configure it as if it's brand new out of the box.

Sorry filled the model space but apparently doesn't transmit. It's a wp3000rp

Can you wired a PC straight to the extender and see any network?

If the light stays unlit then unit could be busted.

You may contact support to get a replacement if it's still within hardware warranty.
