Re: x6 ex77000
You can but you might have stability issues if they're to close to each other.
Reason why is they're not a full mesh system with a router controlling them. So they just connect to the ssid. IF they're to close, they can end up connecting to each others ssid and not back to the routers.

Re: x6 ex77000
Make sure the distances are 30feet or a bit more if you have two extenders connected to a host router.
How big is your home?

Re: x6 ex77000
What are the walls in your home made from?
A single router solution should cover 1500 sqft if its centrally located and if the walls aren't made from materials that block wifi.

Re: x6 ex77000
ouch.
Brick is one of the best blockers of wifi.
If there's any way to wire in the extender and use it in access point mode, it'd work better.
As well as if you switch to a full mesh system, hardwiring in the satellites would make a better performing and stable system.
1500sqft isn't that big but the walls are what are causing your issues. I'd investigate either putting in ethernet (if you don't have it) or using moca or powerline adapters.

Re: x6 ex77000
ethernet over a coax line. Some homes powerline doesn't work very well. And if they don't have ethernet but do have coax ran throughout, they work well.
