91 TopicsReadyNAS Photos troubleshooting tips
If you're having problems getting ReadyNAS Photos to work, see if any of the following tips will help. 1. If you are in User or Domain security mode, and you don't have "public" or "guest" access enabled for the [media] share, you will need to specify a login and password to connect from the ReadyNAS Photos desktop software. The login and password should be what you would normally use to connect to the [media] share. 2. If you are in Share security mode, and you have a password set for the [media] share, when connecting from the ReadyNAS Photos desktop software, leave the login field blank, and enter the share password. 3. If you are in User or Domain security mode, and you are an account on the ReadyNAS with the same user name but a different password as what you are using on your PC, you will need to change the password to be the same. 4. Make sure [media] share has read/write privileges over CIFS. 5. If you have installed a pre-release version of RAIDiator that had ReadyNAS Photos support (shame on you since we never really released it ;-) ), and you're having problems with the READYNASPHOTOS database, you will need to remove the ReadyNAS Photos add-on, and re-install the add-on from here.End-of-Life Announcement for ReadyNAS Photos I
The ReadyNAS Photos I service, often referred as ReadyNAS Photos, the first generation of Photos sharing service for the ReadyNAS will be discontinued as of March 31, 2012. Many of you have enjoyed sharing photos straight from your ReadyNAS, and we continue to innovate and develop more advanced features in ReadyNAS Photos II, the follow-on to ReadyNAS Photos. For those of you who are using ReadyNAS Photos on a ReadyNAS x86-based product (i.e. Ultra, Pro, NVX), you can migrate your ReadyNAS Photos data to Photos II. For those on ReadyNAS Duo and NV+ (v1, Sparc-based) systems, we will provide a means to migrate your Photos data to a ReadyNAS Duo v2 or NV+ v2 or any of the x86-based ReadyNAS. We are also working with ReadyNAS community developers to come up with an alternative photo sharing solution. We apologize for any inconvenience to you. Sincerely, The ReadyNAS TeamNo confirmation mail when signing up for ReadyNAS photos
I signed up for ReadyNAS photo's but I don't get the confirmation mail I get the message: "Login Failed. You have not yet confirmed your account. Please click on the confirmation link sent to you by email." I don't have a spam filter. Please help.Multiple NAS setup?
Confused about how this works. I have a client who has three sites and they want to use three NAS all synced to each other, so each office has fast local access to their files but when necessary can also see other offices data. Individual user permissions are not required. All users are allowed access to all data. What egnyte plan is required? Would one enterprise plan at $14.99 a month work for all three? Or does each NAS need it's own unique account? If so how is each NAS set to sync data from the others? Ta NathanCannot Install ReadyNAS Photo Desktop
RAIDar 4.1.7 ReadyNAS Photos v2.2 Windows XP I'm receiving an error during the install and instructed to delete the Dekoh directory and try again. I've tried using the new release of the Desktop software as well and am receiving the same error. I've tried disabling any virus software and Windows Firewalls. Any other suggestions?Re-install ReadyNAS Photos does not re-create database
After a lot of problems with ReadyNAS Photos I decided to remove the add-on from my NAS and re-install it, hoping this could help me start the process of album creation etc. all over. However it seems that when removing the add-on all databases are being removed/deleted and when re-installing the add-on these are not recreated. So I now have a seemingly working installation except that I am missing the Dekoh user being used in sql to handle the database and the actual ReadyNAS Photos table containing the data. Anybody who can supply a couple of sql files to re-create the Dekoh user and sql-table on my ReadyNAS?No login for ReadyNAS Photo
Just about to give up, I've activated the photo addon in front view and installed the windows application in vista but don't get to create a login when I start readynas photo i get a page load error in firefox 3 and similar in IE7 (the page address is http://www.localhost.com:81/readynaspor ... launch.jsp). I've tried installing the photo 1.5 addon instead, have tried the readyphoto rc3 build have tried installing this on my laptop instead of my desktop (different firewalls) and after taking off and installing java seperately. Anyone got any ideas?
