Hello, We have an SXR80 router and 2 SXS80 satellites. All are under warranty, but Netgear has EOL'd these devices. That means that there are no more firmware updates, etc. What are our options for replacing these? I mean, they weren't cheap and now they're not even supported by the manufacturer. Warranty doesn't mean much in this instance, does it?Can't Access NAS Shares Consistently on Windows 10 – Any Fix?
I upgraded my PC to Windows 10 mainly to play Stardew Valley multiplayer, but now I’m facing an issue where my NAS (RNAS2120) shares only work once after reboot. After that, it says the drive is already in use or throws a login error. I’ve set up NFS support and identity mapping, and it worked the first time — but stops after closing and reopening Explorer. Anyone know a reliable fix?SolvedSelective VPN for specific devices?
Hi all. Asus router have a feature called VPN Fusion. It allows set up of multiple VPN networks and the ability to select specific devices on the network that use the VPN. Does Netgear have a similar feature on their routers? And if so, which specific models (preferably from the mesh network range) actually have this feature? I need to set up my VPN service on the router and only have 3 devices on my network use it.319Views0likes1CommentEAX20 intermittent?
I have a Nighthawk R7800 on the lower level of my home. A few years ago I added a Meross WiFi device for my garage door. Because of an apparent weak signal, I later added an EAX20. All was well until the past week when my video doorbell started going offline (it’s about 15’ from the EAX20). After much messing around, the doorbell somehow got connected to the router instead and all is well again. The EAX20 clients are mostly IP cameras and have never gone offline. Is the a means to select which AP a device connects to?295Views0likes1CommentC7800 upgrade?
I have a c7800 midem/router that is aging. My home is 2,000 sqft, my internet provider is Xfinity and I have their 500gb plan. I have about 20 devices connected to my network. What is a reasonable combo upgrade that will cover my requirements but not break the bank.581Views0likes4CommentsRecommended Solution to Cover Very Large Outdoor Area
Hello. I am looking for guidance on a Wi-Fi purchase to support a Magic Leap Augmented Reality presentation with an extremely large outdoor area. I currently use a Nighthawk LTE Mobile Hotspot Router (MR1100) just fine with 4 Magic Leap 2 devices and Sphere from an on-premises laptop presenting medium to large buildings in AR. The internet is not involved in this equation for security. So, the data is sent from the secure laptop to the MR1100 router, and then to the Magic Leap 2 devices. The largest building I presented outdoors with only one MR1100 placed in the middle is ~16,000 sq. ft., and this worked just fine. However, I fear the size of the next project/building, which is ~191,000 sq. ft. (not to mention the site around it), will need Wi-Fi extenders, access points, mesh system, or other. In addition, we should be adding 3-6 Magic Leap 2 devices to this presentation. Can anyone recommend a solution/purchase for this coverage area and scenario? The power for these devices can be AC wired. However, battery operated is recommended if available. Our AR presentations typically range from 1-2 hours due to the battery life of the Magic Leap 2 devices.438Views0likes3CommentsWill MR6110-111AUS work in indonesia 5G Bands?

I've been having issues with connecting to my Nighthawk XR1000, and I was wondering if there is a device limit to the number of devices that can connect to his router? My nighthawk has two wifi signals, one for the regular wifi channel and one for 5G, and I've been having difficulty connecting to one or the other signals. I had a new room mate move in recently who has added a number of new devices to our wifi, and I'm wondering if that's overloading the router?302Views0likes2CommentsNetgear XS508M question
Hi. I've been looking at buying two XS508Ms, but I've found out that the model is end of life and are no longer being manufactured. They're quite a big unit for just 9 (inc SFP+) ports. Does anyone know if NG are planning on releasing a newer, more compact 8 port 10gbe switch in the coming months at all? I've heard that the equivalent TP-Link (TL-SX1008) has a fan and can get quite noisy. I do love NG products and am loyal to them but I just can't wait forever. I've just bought an MS510TXM. Thanks in advance.213Views0likes3Comments
