Dear Netgear community, Could you please help me to understand the following problem: I bought a Netgear Orbi AX4200 WiFi Mesh System (RBK752) on the secondary market. It was used only for a couple of weeks, so basically it is quite new one. It had an admin password set and two secret questions, to which I had no answers. I couldn't contact the seller and decided to do a factory reset. I did everything according to the manual: I pressed the reset button with a paper clip until the small rear power LED indicator began to blink amber. After that, the main front LED indicator began to blink white (pulsing white), which meant that the router was loading. Approximately 30-60 seconds later, the indicator began to glow white (solid white), which meant that the factory settings were being reset: The problem is that the indicator keeps glowing white (solid white) and nothing happens. I thought that factory reset might take longer and left the router in this state overnight, but in the morning the main LED indicator was still on solid white. I tried several more times to press the reset button and repeat the process, but the result was always the same - the router freezes at the time of the resetting to it's factory default settings. Of course, login through 192.168.1.1 is not possible anymore. Please tell me what could have happened and if there is a solution to this problem? I hope the router is still working and can be restored. Did anyone else had the similar problem with Orbi routers? Thank you very much in advance.SolvedMissing confirm button when manually updating firmware.
When trying to manually update my firmware to downgrade? Since "updating" to new version V4.6.3.7_2.0.49 I have been having issues connecting to Wi-Fi, dropping connections when streaming Plex or any type of service at least twice every 10 minutes sometimes more. But when I tried to manually update my firmware I setup the RBS750 just fine but then after I try to do the router and apparently they remove the yes/confirm button so I'm stuck with this update that has been horrible right after I downloaded it. Sometimes certain devices can connect to the Wi-Fi but it can't connect to the internet even though it's available but if I open a guest Network they can log in just fine. Does anybody have any ideas for me please? Also I have the RBR75 Orbit AX4200 Tri-band wiFi Router but of course it's missing from their model list.Homekit for Orbi Mesh RBK853
Just making another discussion, until netgear finally announces they will support Homekit Secure Routers! I have the Orbi RBK853 mesh wifi system, worth over €1200, and it doesn’t even support Homekit Routers. They should really add this, otherwise I am thinking about selling these and buying the Linksys velop mesh, which do support Homekit Secure Routers!
