I’m currently working on the website fominsoap.com, and I’ve been experiencing some internet speed issues. I’ve noticed that my connection speed is significantly slower than expected, averaging around 40 Mbps. I’m wondering if this could be related to my device connecting to the 2.4 GHz band instead of the 5 GHz band, as I’ve heard that the 2.4 GHz band is often slower. Could you provide guidance on how to ensure my device connects to the 5 GHz band for optimal performance? Additionally, are there other factors I should consider that might be affecting my internet speed?I bought Eax80 speed is capped at 90mbps
Does anyone know why when I installed my eax80 as an access point my Internet speed 400 mbps and after a couple of days is limited to 90mbps. I have tried downgraded to another version of the firmware also, I have tried to factory reset it. I have tried to contact customer service for Netgear but after three months that they don’t help you at all and every time I’m downgrade the firmware it starts at 400mbps and then after a couples of days goes back to being limited.1.5KViews0likes6CommentsParental Controls not working, potential DNS issue
Orbi RBR50v2 Firmware V2.7.4.24 ISP: Comcast Xfinity I've recently resubscribed to parental controls and armor however they do not appear to be working (i.e. device specified with content filtering is allowing browsing to objectionable content). It appears the DNS is set to Xfinity's DNS service (75.75.75.75, 75.75.76.76) and the ability to change is disabled. My understanding is that the parental controls should be using it's own preferred DNS service. Trying to solve this before demanding a refund on services that don't operate correctly. Apparently, despite having just subscribed to these services I am not permitted to open a case with support. Any pointers would be appreciated.Bitdefender Armor
I am using my router for 5 months. Today I just suscribed to the Netgear Armor and it identified 84 devices but my Nighthawks app sees (only) 23. something like 15 computers, 25 mobile devices, etc. Could there be an history of earlier connections, even before I purchased this Armor? Should I delete them all and see what will happen with current devices ?710Views0likes1CommentRenewed Armor for $40, but charged full $99
WTH! I renewed Armor for a discounted price of $40 over the weekend, effective today, and today NetGear charged my credit card the full $99! To make matters worse, I can’t even call a customer service line to resolve it. WTH?! I’m so ticked, I’m about to dispute the charge. Somebody at NetGear better fix this immediately. Not a happy customer. I can’t get the attachment feature here to work so I can upload the screenshot of my confirmation, but the conf number is 152630065.2.3KViews0likes4CommentsCan't update payment info for Armor
Where do you update your CC info for your Armor subscription? I got the 30-day trail during that time my card had to be reported stolen. I tried to update the info with the new card, but I can't find anyplace to do it. I called but the guy on the phone would not listen, kept saying I had a year subscription, so I was good. Could not get him to understand that the card was going to be declined when they went to charge it after the trail. Got the email that it happened, and it asked me to update my CC info - but no place to do it! Thought maybe I could just sign up again on the app, but it just keeps saying something went wrong updating Armor status with the error code: ARM-PYMT-EXP. Anyone know how to get my payment info updated and the service reinstated? Never had such a hard time giving a company money. 😊Solved10KViews2likes14CommentsControl bandwidth with nighthawk M2
