Orbi Pro 6 (SXR80 - SXS80) Connection with Powerline Adapter
Hi Community, Has anyone had success connecting an Orbi Pro 6 Mesh System Router to a Satellite using a Powerline Adapter? I have a a network setup with an SXR80 and an SXS80 but was having a difficult time keeping the satellite connected. Lacking a direct wired connection I have tried a Netgear Powerline adapter and while it appears to work....the Insight App shows a connected satellite on the dashboard, when I click into the satellite screen, the satellite details show an IP Address, with 0 connected clients and Mesh Link Status of "Disconnected" and firmware version of "0" However, it does appear to be working as a viable access point. I am just wondering if this is now running in some sort of reduced performance mode and I also wonder whether the automatic firmware updates will happen as scheduled and desired? Any insights (pun intended) into what might be going on, will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Disconnects and drops
I just bought the PLP1000 to connect my AP to my router. What a joke, it goes into sleep mode after 10min of non-activity and doesn't wake up. Reading all the solutions to this problem without NETGEAR offering one is insane. Would return these immediatly if I could but I can't. Being on a mac makes it harder to download zyxel utility or d-link utility. I can't get any of these to work, not even on my wifes PC. Am I screwed? 72 euros down the trash!verbinding
hallo Wie kan mij helpen. Ik heb een XAV5201 met een XWN5001 verbonden. Alle lampjes branden correct. Achter hangt de XWN5001 in de schuur. Waar hij eerst goed functioneerde. Nu lukt het me af en toe om verbing te maken met onze omvormer van de zonnepanelen. De verbinding is blijkbaar instabiel. Nu krijg ik het niet meer voor elkaar om verbinding te maken. Beste, Wegens slechte kwaliteit van verbinding tussen de satellieten heb ik deze bedraad aangesloten met behulp van powerline adapters. Dit werkt even goed maar als ik na enkele dagen de netwerkmap bekijk, blijkt dat de satelietten opnieuw draadloos verbonden zijn met elkaar en dat de bedrade verbinding blijkbaar is weggevallen. Zou dit een gekend probleem zijn, bepaalde instellingen of ergelijke die niet correct staan of aan te passen zijn hiervoor? Of zou er een probleem kunnen zijn met de adapters, wat ik betwijfel want in andere setup werken deze volledig naar behoren? Mvg, MatthiasPowerline HDX Internet Just Stopped Working
Mac osx 10.12.6 Router Netgear N600 WNDR34500 I have a direct line from the router to my Mac, but I use my powerline for my home theater system in the other room via converted router to switch. I also have a single block XAV 101v2 which I picked up at a thrift shop that works, but I havent been using it. I've check pretty much everything I need to check to see if the rest of the system works and it does, but I only get the power and the ethernet lights to work on the blocks. Checked, cables, outlets from different room. The only thing I cant check is where I put in the original line to the wall from the router. Any suggestions? I went to work yesterday and everything worked fine, but when I came home the blocks werent working.Cannot reset the wifi settings
I seemed to have lost the wifi extension from my AV200 powerline adapter. I have reset it (and the initial unit) and checked their encryption but using the Powerline Utility I keep getting a message that says 'wifi setting failed' when I try to complete that action. Any clues would be fab - all lights are opn and the utility says that the connections are good ???
