Brand New RS500-NAS purchased. Setup and all works well and in use for about 5 days. Power cycled the unit and the ethernet came back on, but the wireless was off. Looked in config, and saw wireless off. I power cycled router again, and wireless is still off but the ethernet is on. I went into wireless the config via ethernet, and saw the wireless is highlighted and off. I turned on the wireless. After the config change reboot the unit power cycled and the wireless came back on. I power cycled again, and ethernet and wireless came back on. I regularly turn off my power to all internet in my home when not there. Since I have had this unit, it has worked well, but the question is, how long till this happens again? The radios in the router failed to start on their own and turned off wireless in configuration on it's own. Is this a bad unit? Is this router capable of being power cycled when needed for use?753Views0likes6Comments
