Unite Explore 815S DHCP not working
I'm having a problem today where DHCP is not assigning IP addresses and DHCP is turned on. I have this problem after doing a reset on the device or doing a reset from http://192.168.1.1. I connect my devices to the Unite Explore and IP address is not given out and I have to assign a static IP address on my device in the 192.168.1.x range for it to work? Anybody have any ideas why DHCP is not handing out an address? Even after a full reset and DHCP is on?configuration - Aircard + Cradle + Nas
Hi, I try to have an external connection with my nas. I have the aircard 810s (192.168.1.1) and the cradle (192.168.100.1). Both I try to activate forwardding port for my nas (192.168.100.126). No matter what port I forward in the settings, I will always be forward to some Netgear AirCard error page when trying to reach my server from outside. I connect to internet with a AirCard AC785 that is docked to DC112A. I have made the port forwarding in the Cradles settings. Three days researching with no result other than conflicting answers. I use a Netgear Aircard 790 at home for Internet. I wish to be able to stream music to my Denon DN-200WS which feeds my amplifier so, in my experience, I require a network in my apartment talking to the Denon component. Question is what router or expander can I use to achieve this when all I have as my Internet source is the Aircard, which, as a Netgear site states, works on a different system to routers while another Netgear site discusses connecting or adding a Netgear expander to an Aircard? For example there is an inexpensive Netgear EX6200 on eBay at the moment but finishing in a day. I know F'all about systems, the lingo/terms but use Internet like anyone else. Hi guys, new around here, and its my first Netgear product! After reading amazing reviews on the internet, I´ve just received my new AirCard 790S unlocked that I bought through Amazon, I must say, the thing is amazing! Unfortunately, I´m noticing an issue and I don´t know if its only me, or if this is something that has happened to more people (searched on the internet and in this Forum and haven´t been able to find anything related), the screen of my AirCard flickers lightly, when its turned on one doesn´t get a solid image, no matter how the brightness is set up. Does anyone know what this can be? is it generalized, or should I just ask for a replacement to Amazon? I´d appreciate any possible help, thanks for reading!Port Forward not work!
Hello! :manhappy: Sorry for my english, i try to do the best. I work and play online videogames out of my home, for this reason in the last 10 years i bought 3 hotspot modem. The first was a Novatell Wireless MiFi, one of the first model, and with it i have not a minimun problem because it is totally open (not have security features, nat, firewall etc...) but not is 4G and today we need 4G :) The second one was a TP-Link hotspot, great connection but i have some issue with it (one of all, no port forward feature inside control panel and i have a lot of issues with online videogames), for this reason i bought a Netgear Aircard 785S on Amazon (a smooth version, without sim or data plan) because i read that it have a port forward, dmz and upnp, very nice! My settings: - DHCP enabled - my notebook have a static IP - my antivirus/firewall (NOD32) disabled - created some rules inside firewall to allow all comunications in/out. - windows firewall and windows defender turned off. I tested Aircard with one game in particular, Rainbow Six Siege. first try, open all listed ports on official game forum but didn't work. Second try, activate uPnP but didn't work, last try, turn on DMZ and this worked. Ok good, i resolved all my problems! Yesterday came out a new game, Toxikk, a game where i can host a custom match/server and i try to do it but without success. My server not listed on server list, and my friend can't connect to it (remaining on the "connecting" screen). I'm already on DMZ and this leave me thinking..... DMZ work or not? Dunno... From here i done a lot of test... i turned on only uPnP, not work, only DMZ, not work, i turned off all and I open ports one by one, not work, i tried some combinations of DMZ, uPnP and ports, not work. I tried to uninstall NOD32 or disable it, not work. At this point i checked if ports are open with online tool, like http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ . I start a server that are listening on port 7777 and i checked on website: the port is closed. I dunno if this online tool is good, because i tried to check a lot of ports and all are closed, also 21 and 80. At this point my consideration is that port forward not work. but also DMZ? And uPnP? I wrong something? I dunno, i spoke with some friend that can start a server without problem, and he say me that he just open 2 ports, 777 and 27015. I do the same, but my server is not visible and joinable. Why? I hope someone can help me.. thanks!Traffic Meter Cannot Activate on Aircard Smart Cradle DC112A
Hi folks Using DC112A with unlocked Telstra AdvanceIII WiFi hotspot in the cradle. I am on Win10 64bit. Internet Provider = Vodafone and the internet is via 3G Mobile Broadband only (hence my desire to have a functional Traffic Meter) :smileyfrustrated: Traffic meter activation fails when using Geneie web interface (when you try to click 'Apply') with these messages given on web interface: "Only use mobile broadband (wireless network provider) not support traffic meter, please uncheck to disable it." If you un-check this option and choose any other option, it will give the same warning message (but with the different option wording put in) and saying that you need to deselect that as well. In other words, it doesn't matter what option you select, it fails to activate the traffic meter (whether or not you put values into the various boxes). Can anyone please help on this matter? I'm using the Unite Pro 781S for home internet so I have it set to never go into standby mode but it seems to continue to stop working after a few hours and requires a reboot to begin functioning again even though I still show 4glte service. Any idea why this would be happening? It's very frustrating. Had I known this would be an issue I probably would have gone with Verizon's Jet pack instead. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Bill
