When trying to shutdown my ReadyNAS 204 it hangs with an error of do_exit+9ec on display. The only way to recover is to disconnect the AC power cord and reconnect. I have the most current version of firmware as of 05/27/17. Version 6.7.4. Same error occurs regardless of how it is done. Occurs when shutting down from the power button or from the system device webpage. Any suggestions? Had a similar problem when I first purchased this unit. A beta firmware solved the problem then. The problem reappeared when upgrading to the next publicly available released firmware. Please advise. Thank you.12KViews0likes64CommentsChanging Alert messages WAC720
Dear, I would like to raise 3 future request regarding WAC720 alert messages. 1. I would like to change the subject of a allert message. The subject is now like: Host: "" IP: "" List of Alarm with Severity "Major" Reported in Last 5 min It would be great to change this is something else, its not clear for us what the problem is when i see this subject. Can we change it in something like: Major error reported on AP"", AP Down in the last 5 min. 2. We would like to see the error message in plaine text in a email. We are unable to read te error message on our smartphone and in we need to save a txt file on our laptop to see what is wrong. This takes to much time. Is it possible to get the attachement as plain text in the mail? 3. We would like to change the priorities for each error. For me it is very important to know when a AP is down, so i would like to put that kind of errors in a major prio, but i dont want to get a messages when a AP discovers their are bad envirements. So we would like to change the errors prioritys.10KViews1like1CommentCant enable SMB on ReadyNas 316
Hi, I noticed that SMB service on my ReadyNas 316 with version 6.9.3 stopped working 2 days ago and I can't turn it on. At first I didnt see the shares and after reboot, I saw that SMB was turned off. I have tried to search for any solutions but I cant find one. I really don't want to do an factory reset.
Router Firmware Version V2.0.0.74 Steps to reproduce: 1) Sign in to orbilogin.com (or whatever method) 2) Click the "Advanced" tab 3) Expand the "Advanced Setup" section in the left list, then scroll down within the list until you see "VLAN/Bridge Settings". Click "VLAN/Bridge Settings". 4) Click "Enable VLAN/Bridge group" and then "By VLAN tag group". 5) Highlight the existing/default "Internet" VLAN tag group and click "EDIT" 6) Change the VLAN ID (e.g. to 201, as I need to do for CenturyLink Fiber internet). 7) Click "APPLY" Expected results: VLAN tag group page is shown with the new settings specified above. Actual results: VLAN tag group page is shown with old settings; any changes are not respected/retained/saved. Using the exact steps above, the entire VLAN settings are disabled / not enabled. If you already have VLAN settings enabled, then the "Internet" group will simply remain in VLAN ID 10 -either way, it is uneditable. Looking for Netgear help here, as this seems to be a bug in their firmware or router settings. Also very interested if others can reproduce, or whether this is just my device.SolvedSchedulazione WiFi R7000 disabilitata (?)
Grazie, LucaSolved8KViews1like7CommentsYour security token is expired. Please click the menu to re-enter the page.
On a macbook, for the last year or so I very frequently can't change settings in the router because I get the error: Your security token is expired. Please click the menu to re-enter the page. This happens form Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. It happens in normal and in private modes. It happens even after logging out and back in. It happens even after reboots. On rare occasions I'll be able to do something like change the dns servers in dhcp or reboot the router using the UI. For the most part I can't. Im tired of it... how do I get around this issue?3.2KViews0likes1CommentRN204 - Please remove inactive volumes in order to use the disk
After the automated disk maintainance had ran I found it could no longer be discovered on the net. So I powered down and up my RN204 to find the weird 'resyncing' message on the LCD screen. Took several hours to resync. After that I find no volumes on the NAS and the confusing error message in my RAIDar screen with status message that volume data is rad level 5 and there is 0 MB data. Also a second volume that is new with same message, both in yellow highlight. Wen I log in as Admin I find a 'Please remove inactive volumes in order to use the disk. Disk #1,2,3,4 in order to use the drive' and the disks marked in red instead blue in the picture of the raid. Not shure what caused this, nor how to solve this. Use Readynas 204 with four bays containing identical 6 TB WD60EFRX drives (none of them indicating errors in SMART) in RAID 5 (Xraid) confing on lastest FW (v6.8.0) No clue how to solve this error. Can someone please help me with some advice? Thanks Hans1KViews0likes3Comments
