I have obtained a used GSM7324 for some lab work and need to reset to factory default. I have followed some guides power down ... reset button for 10secs.....power on power down ... reset button for 10secs.....keep pressed power on hold for a further 20 secs. Neither has worked. Any advice please I don't have access to PC/Laptop with serial port so cannot use any console connection. Thanks for any advice3KViews0likes4CommentsGSM7328Sv2 - Factory reset
Wondering if someone can help, we have had this switch for a while and it has been sat in storage for some time. We no longer know the IP of the switch, what subnet it was on etc. After powering it on and letting it boot up, I connect a machine to it and cannot connect to the management interface. It just doesn't want to play ball! If I can get onto the switch and configure its IP, I will install this at one of our other sites, but at the moment I am having some real difficulty getting its IP. I have tried using the Smart Control Center Manager app and it is not detected. Unfortunately we do not have a serial cable to connect to it, cannot run Putty etc. I have tried using the reset button at the front but I have seen online this is for rebooting the switch? Is there anyway to just reset its IP at least so I can get onto the management interface? Any help or points in the right direction would be great! :)4.8KViews0likes1Comment
