GSM7324 Factory Reset

Question

I have obtained a used GSM7324 for some lab work and need to reset to factory default.

I have followed some guides

power down ... reset button for 10secs.....power on

power down ... reset button for 10secs.....keep pressed power on hold for a further 20 secs.

Neither has worked.

Any advice please

I don't have access to PC/Laptop with serial port so cannot use any console connection.

Hi,&nbsp;Fully managed switches, such as yours, can only be factory reset from:&nbsp;1. The GUIor&nbsp;2. The CLI (via console)&nbsp;The "Reset" button is just a reboot so it won't do much. If you do not know the IP of the switch, i.e. you cannot get to the GUI - then you need to aquire a console cable.&nbsp;&nbsp;Cheers&nbsp;

Thanks for your replies.&nbsp;I got a usb2serial and successfully connected to console to factory reset and assign new IP to access web interface. Works a treat.&nbsp;CheersMartin
