Hello, I got a new ReadyNAS 102 2-Bay, Diskless RN10200 out of the box yesterday (and put in a third party HDD). So far everything seems is working fine except I am having problems with ReadyCloud. I am running the newest firmware 6.0.4 Readycloud is refusing to discover the ReadyNAS. When I am going through the setup process and I try to discover the device, it prompts me to press the Backup or OK button on the front of the ReadyNAS. However, when I do this, it fails and tells me to try again. If I take no action, after three minutes it fails and tells me I did not press the button within three minutes and need to try again. When I do press the Backup button, it fails immediately and gives this same message (even if it's still less than three minutes). I've tried pressing the Backup button once, holding it for 15 seconds, holding it before I click discover, etc. I have rebooted my computer and also rebooted and unplugged the ReadyNAS and tried again with the exact same results. I tried again throughout the day in case it was some kind of problem with the Readycloud service itself that might have later been corrected, but I continuously get the same result. Obviously it won't allow me do anything else with ReadyCloud, because it says I don't have a registered device because it won't let me discover it. So far I have not seen anyone else raise this specific issue. I believe this might be a problem with ReadyCloud more than a problem with the ReadyNAS hardware itself. Everything on the ReadyNAS remains lit and doesn't seem to have an issue on the device itself. Does the browser I'm using matter at all? Is there going to be a new firmware update that corrects this issue? Please help.12KViews0likes31CommentsUnable to access Admin page on RN104 since upgrade to 6.2.2
Hi Just noticed I am unable to access the admin page and receive the error "Google Chrome's connection attempt to IP was rejected. The website may be down or your network may not be properly configured". FF and IE just say unable to connect. I can ping the IP fine and the shares are available via the android app but not the readycloud website which sees the top level folders but when you try to enter into them it just reloads the device icon.10KViews0likes14CommentsSync issues with the ReadyCloud Desktop App
I've got an RN104. Just update firmware to 6.2.0, and downloaded and installed the ReadyCloud Desktop App. While I definitely like the new UI than the ReadyNAS Remote, I have some issues/questions regarding the sync function of the new app: 1. Can I designate a folder on my PC to sync with a ReadyNAS folder? 2. somewhat in relation to the above question, can I change the default location of ReadyCloud folder (under User) to somewhere else? Looking forward to your suggestion/advice, folks. Steve8.7KViews0likes13CommentsReadyCloud not working - shows up as offline
Hi, I'm Eugene. I work for the Department of Defense here in the North Chicago area. I recently purchase a Netgear NAS RN102. Was able to get it setup. Enter the Admin panel. Was changing the TCP/IP address to Static. Made the change. Closed out Chrome. The IP 192.168.x.xx I entered did not change. Now my ReadyCloud NAS shows up as offline. I've tried a reset and even power off. Nothing I try brings it back online and makes it discoverable. Anyone care to coach the newbie? Thanks, Eugene8.7KViews0likes8CommentsInvited cloud user gets no registered devices
RN10400 OS 6.1.4 2x3TB WD Red I have set up the above machine successfully using the readycloud discovery process and have no problem accessing it using the admin user via readycloud or any of the relevant iOS apps. My problem is this: I invited another user to access my NAS using the Manage tab of readycloud. That user responded to the email and set up a readycloud account, which is now visible on the Manage tab of readycloud, if one is logged in as the admin user. However when the invited user logs into readycloud, no NAS is visible and the text "Currently you have no registered or shared devices". How do I get my NAS to show up for that user? The invited user has all the services (readycloud, remote, readydrop) appear after the user's name under the Account tab, Cloud Users section, exactly as they do for the admin user. However, only the admin user can see the NAS when logged in through the cloud. Also, while the admin user can log in to the NAS directly, using its IP address in a browser, the invited user cannot log in that way at all! Please can someone tell me what I am doing wrong, or not doing at all?8KViews0likes38CommentsCan't ping 1fichier.com

I have tried to look for in-depth information about the setup of the new ReadyCLOUD PC client, and didn't get very far. I have setup a user client and connection to my NAS (RN312, 6.2.0) is OK, but when I go to the 'Backup PC Folder' link on the client machine (Win7) I am met with a selection of potential directories which I can choose from......but I don't want those ones, I want to choose another one....How do I accomplish this? Cheers, John6.4KViews1like6CommentsRN104 - Cloud Functionality and Apps
Happy with a new RN104. Currently two area's of interest: - It looks like the cloud functionality is a little buggy. According to support, this may be related to with current Netgear server upgrades. I'm currently unable to properly create and manage ReadyCloud users. Will investigate further. - Also, I'd like to run some of the available apps like Wordpress and make them accessible from outside my LAN/Internet router. Looking forward to exploring the expertise in the forums!Solved6.3KViews0likes14CommentsUpload from iOS via ReadyCLOUD app
This may be more of an iOS question, but here goes: I have a ReadyNAS 314 and I'm using an iPhone 6 and/or iPad Air 2 running iOS 8.3 with Netgear's ReadyCLOUD app installed. I want to be able to upload individual files from iOS (mainly pictures and videos) using the ReadyCLOUD app. I do not wish to enable the Media Backup feature, but rather I'd like to be able to pick and choose which files I transfer to the NAS. At first, I assumed this functionality was simply beyond the capabilities of the ReadyCLOUD app, but I recently discovered that it is possible to upload individual files from within the iOS Messages app. Once you send or receive a picture or video in Messages, you can simply click the share icon and choose 'Open in RCLOUD'. This launches the ReadyCLOUD app and I'm able to select the exact upload location. Works perfectly! Problem is, I don't see the 'Open in RCLOUD' option available elsewhere in iOS (Photos, Mail, etc.) and I can't seem to find a way to add it. I'd really like to be able to use this feature to upload pics/vids without first having to send them to someone in a message. Has anyone else seen this issue? Does anyone know if it's possible to add 'Open in RCLOUD' to apps other than Messages? Seems odd that it would work so well in one app, yet be unavailable in others. I'm hoping it's just something I'm missing. Thanks in advance for any info on this issue!5.8KViews1like0Comments
