28 TopicsSABnzbd for RN102
Hi, I've been using SABnzbd on my RN102 for some time now, without much problems to speak of. Recently, I had a pretty big download queue, which it wouldn't finish; it stopped at around 80%. I figured I'll restart SABnzb, see what happens. However, it didn't come back on. It wouldn't start from the NAS UI and the bookmark i normally use to start SABnzbd wouldn't load either. I figured I'll reboot the NAS via putty. At first the UI wouldn't come back on either. Used Raidar to see if the NAS was there. It was, but it wasn't accessible because it was busy. After having tried another reboot, it took a while to come back on and now I noticed the firmware had updated from 6.2.3 to 6.2.4 (I didn't tell it to update the firware) Treid launching SABnzbd again with no luck. updated the fimware to 6.2.5 to see what would happen, still not able to launch SABnzbd. Tried to re-install the app, but the UI kept hanging while trying to remove the app. after another reboot the app still showed up in the app list, but without its icon. (broken image link) I thought maybe if I install it again from "available apps" (where I originally installed it from) but now it's nowhere to be found on that list. When I google "SABnzbd arm" I see that there's a version available but now i have to PAY for it? This seems rediculous. I mean, isn't this "who cares" guy just making money with someone else's freeware? Anyway, I'd love to be able to use SABnzbd again on my NAS (or any other NZB client for that matter) and I was wondering if anyone could help me out? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks a bunch in advance and kind regards, LaszloSolvedUnable to resome Backup Job from an old backup point.
The Setup SITE ONE: Site one is the main operating location of a business that has a RN102 connected to the the local network and readycloud as well replicate SITE TWO: Site two is the remote secured location of a RN102 behind a firewall, Connected to ReadyCloud and Replicate What I have Done So far A few weeks ago I was having issues with some of the users at "SITE ONE" not being able to access folders via ReadyCloud so I ened up having to disconnect the NAS from the ReadyCloud and reconnect it back to the ReadyCloud. I re-added users and granted them permissions on the NAS and ReadyCloud After that my Replicate Backup Failed with errors I than removed and reconnected the SITE TWO NAS from ReadyCloud and tried the backup again and the backup failed I than read and followed the instructions to disconnect and reconnect each NAS from SITE ONE and SITE TWO to replicate and had to recreate the backup job. I have not been able to resume any of the previous backups that are already on the backup nas or restore any of the previous backups I should not be having to transfer 119GB of data between the two sites when I recreated the job as the job should have read and seen that the files are already on the backup nas and only transfer the modified files or new files to the backup NAS I have tried to "resume from" but nothing shows up as well nothing shows up under the "resume" option either I have looked at creating a restore job but it shows that there are not backups available on the remote nas to restore When I run the backup job it gets to a file and it looks as if it hangs on that file than the job fails. Exit code: 30 (Data send/receive timeout) Site ONE I am able to create port forward to the NAS Site TWO I am unable to create port forwards as I do not have access to the router It may come to the point that I may need to have them relocate the SITE TWO NAS to a different location where I can create and do port forwards to connect the device. I ahve also notice that I am able to Connect to SITE TWO via the readycloud VPN but not SITE ONE via VPN?RN102 won't do the factory reset
Wanting the factory reset (push the reset button with a paperclip, put on power, see all lights go on, select Disk 1 with backup button, press the reset again with the paperclip) it won't do the reset. The power button flashes for a moment, and then... nothing happens. And since the RN102 is invisible in my network on 2 computers from one day to another, I guess I have to do the reset..? Does this mean that all data is still available on disc 2 (since it is a 2 bay NAS)? But however, I want it to work again. The factory reset is not working. What can I do?5.5KViews0likes12CommentsNetwork configuration and Computer name change
Hi guys! I'm brand new to this forum and was directed here by customer support. I was helped two weeks back to get my NAS back online but when I have tried to log in since it just says it's offline (attached is a screenshot of the message). I have recently changed the computers name and can't help but think that may have thrown off the configuration but the technical wizardry the customer support provided was amazing to re-configure everything - but there's no way I couldn't follow what he was doing or understand it. Could anybody lend me a helping hand to try and do this myself? TomSolved5.5KViews0likes10CommentsSickrage not working after re-install ReadyNAS 102
Hi guys, I've had the Sickrage app installed from WhoCares_ but I was having trouble updating it to the latest git. So I decided to remove it and install the version from Mhynlo After installation, the app seems to be installed correctly; the status is ON in Frontview, however the app doesn't work. When I launch it, the page http://192.168.1.13:8081 opens, but the Sickrage page is not working. I've tried removing the app with SSH: I logged in as root and ran apt-get purge sickrage Then: cd apps rm sickrage -r The latter command returned 'no such directory.' I reinstalled the app again, but it still doesn't work... :( Any ideas?Solved4.3KViews0likes10CommentsManagement Service is offline (RN102)
ReadyNAS firmware 6.8.1 Hi, I have been using ReadyNAS for a while now, I have four in total and they have been 'almost' flawless. This morning, however, when I turned one of them on, the Power light continues to flash indicating an issue. Ran RAIDar 6.3.0 and it tells me both drives are healthy but that the Management Service is Offline. SSH is not enabled on the device currently (i don't run with SSH enabled). I was, however, able to download the logs using RAIDar. I tried to upload them for convenience but zip files are not allowed. Upon searching the forums the most common suggestion appears to be a full O/S partition... but that doing a re-install of the O/S from the boot menu does not fix the issue. I have not yet done this and would prefer not to perform a factory reset unless we have to. any assistance in getting my admin page back up and running would be appreciated. Many thanks. KristianSolvedReadyNAS Anti-Virus Plus - (ReadyNAS OS 6.8.0 ) - how to configure

I do not want to let antivirus decide to delete suspicious files! Will someone please help me?Solved3.9KViews0likes5CommentsRN102 to Raspberry Pi Rsync over SSH within LAN
Computers - Home - Same LAN RN102 - 2 x 4TB HDD Flexraid OS 6.4.2 Raspberry Pi running latest Raspian - No additional storage Offsite Server - WAN Debian 8.4 based atom server running 24/7 1 x 1TB Office - WAN / VPN possible RN104 - 4 x 1TB HDD Flexraid OS 6.4.2 Flow of data - Offsite Server -> RN102, RN104 (In test scenario) Raspberry Pi -> RN102 (both within the same LAN) Reasoning- I want to incrementally update the home and backup versions from the offsite web hosting, which brings media files down to the RN102 and RN104 in turn, intially I thought the quickest way to create a one way backup would be bittorrent sync. However, files on the web host are constantly deleted which is deleting the data in the backups as well. There are a variety of media files which I would rather backup into the same folder, as in I don't want indiviually dated folders. Rsync seems to fit the bill for this one way sync that simply adds new media and makes no change to the backup folders. If there are any other suggestions on better ways I am game for them. I have been trying for the last week or so to sort out a one way incremental sync between an offsite server running debian and the RN102 / RN104. I thought the easiest way to get a test setup would be to chuck raspian (lightweight Debian) on to the raspberry pi and get a feel for the speeds etc internally, speed is a key requirement and reason for changing to considering rsync. I have not been able to get the setup working at all always getting the 'unable to connect to host' error. I have followed this guide - http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29929/~/readynas-os-6%3A-setting-up-a-backup-job-with-rsync-over-ssh I am really not sure what I am doing wrong, SSH and rsync is enabled on both the RN102 and the Raspberry Pi, I have added the SSH keys to the known_hosts on both units and I am able to SSH to both units from their respective consoles. I am unclear why there would be no route to host as I am able to connect between both, any guidance would be most appreciated.
