RN102 come fare l'upgrade del firmware se il management service is offline
Ciao a tutti abbiamo un nas con 2 dischi da 2 tb RN102 e ha già 2 annetti mai avuto problemi per fortuna Ieri mi chiedono di aggiungere una share di rete e io bello come il sole vado sull'ip del nas e boom ... mi rendo conto che ho sto cavolo di management off line ... scarico la versione aggiornata di Raidar e anche lui mi da sempre lo stesso messaggio... ora ho una scatoletta con 1 Tb di dati funzionante ma bloccata non più espandibile Ho letto nei vari altri tread con lo stesso mi problema ma non posso permetermi di perdere i dati e resettare tutto ... ne ho intenzione di compare un altro nas e mettere in pensione anticipata questo bel RN102 non potendo accedere con il management come faccio ad aggioranre il firmware senza radere al suolo i dati o rischiando di perderli ??? Grazie per i vostri preziosi consigli o aiuto su come risolvere la questione Dear Sirs we have a RN102 with 2 Hd 2Tb size each 2 years old yesterday the bos ask me to add a networks share so i try do do it but i wasn't able to did it cause the management service is off line I don't want to lose any data and i'm not able to update the firmware from the old 6.2.9 to the new one cause i can't log in the nas managment so what should i do to solve this problem ? i read other tread but non one of them are like mine anybody can help me ? tnkx folks ! ReadyNAS firmware 6.8.1 Hi, I have been using ReadyNAS for a while now, I have four in total and they have been 'almost' flawless. This morning, however, when I turned one of them on, the Power light continues to flash indicating an issue. Ran RAIDar 6.3.0 and it tells me both drives are healthy but that the Management Service is Offline. SSH is not enabled on the device currently (i don't run with SSH enabled). I was, however, able to download the logs using RAIDar. I tried to upload them for convenience but zip files are not allowed. Upon searching the forums the most common suggestion appears to be a full O/S partition... but that doing a re-install of the O/S from the boot menu does not fix the issue. I have not yet done this and would prefer not to perform a factory reset unless we have to. any assistance in getting my admin page back up and running would be appreciated. Many thanks. Kristian

How to set up the antivirus program behavior. My system 6.8.0 (RN102) does not show the following options. I have antivirus turned on, but it is not possible to set the antivirus in more detail. I do not want to let antivirus decide to delete suspicious files! Will someone please help me?
Network configuration and Computer name change
Hi guys! I'm brand new to this forum and was directed here by customer support. I was helped two weeks back to get my NAS back online but when I have tried to log in since it just says it's offline (attached is a screenshot of the message). I have recently changed the computers name and can't help but think that may have thrown off the configuration but the technical wizardry the customer support provided was amazing to re-configure everything - but there's no way I couldn't follow what he was doing or understand it. Could anybody lend me a helping hand to try and do this myself? Tom
