I didn't try a factory reset because I don't want to lose my port configurations, PoE settings, VLANs, PVIDs, LAG, etc., and if things are so messed up right now that PoE and LAGs and Stacking are messed up, won't I just reintroduce the problems if I restore from a backed up config ?
But this begs a larger question... Once you stack these switches, is a factory reset the only way to remove a switch(es) from the stack ? (or should they be able to return themselves to an unstacked configuration on their own, when they reboot and see that they are no longer stacked ?)
