GS748T v5 vlan
Hi Guys,
Trying to configure vlan but not having much luck could someone please assist
right now I have one vlan 192.168.1.x but need to add another vlan which would 192.168.30.x how I do go about this.
192.168.1.x range gets it IP address from dhcp from server.
192.168.30.x would static IP for my camera network all the camara's will have static IP address
Basically I want to be able to access 192.168.30.x from 192.168.1.x
Do I need to configure my router ?
I followed the below guide but it didnt help.

Well, somehting must handle the routing - either a L3 function on a switch, or a router.

Thanks for respone but is this switch layer 3 ?
According to the GS716Tv3/GS724Tv4/GS748Tv5 Datasheet the switch does support these lite L3 features:
L3 SERVICES - IPV4 ROUTING
Static Routing Yes
VLAN Routing Yes
IP Source Guard Yes
Your reading does start in GS716TV3/GS716Tv3/GS724Tv4/GS748Tv5 Software Administration Manual (25 Sept 2013) with Chapter 4, Configuring Routing. There is more than defining the VLAN interfaces for routing, ie. adding Routing Rules for example.
