Gsm7312

I upgraded a GSM7312 today using telnet, the tftp and flashing process reported ok, once I reloaded it now loops on boot, I am unable to get a readout from the console port.

Any suggestions??

  • Have you tried to reboot your GSM7312 switch?
    What is the exact firmware version have you uploaded to it?
  • I used the latest download from net gear support. And yes I physically rebooted after the unit didn't reboot itself.
  • If you cannot get a response from the console and web UI the switch is pretty much dead, it does not have a factory reset button like the new ones. Check with support it might be covered by the lifetime warranty (though this product is EoL, they might give you an alternative)
