GSM7352Sv1 Link Status Detach on 10GIG Ports

Hello everyone,

i have a little problem getting a 10GIG connection on my Netgear GSM7352Sv1.

Firmware installed: 8.0.3.49

Module 1 - 3: AX741 XFP Adapter with AXM751 10GIG-SR XFP Module 4: AX742 Stacking Module(not used)

When i'm connecting one of my three 10GIG Ports with another 10GIG Switch(non Netgear). The Module LED in the front lights up, and the Switch at the other end tells me. "10GIG Link is up".

Looking at the Netgear Webinterface, the Link stays down.

So, let's try the CLI. Maybe it shows more then the Webinterface. "show port all" Shows the Link status as "detach" on the 1/0/49-1/0/52. Taking a further look at "show stack-port" tells me the configured mode is "Ethernet" and the Link Status is "UP" at 10G. But no Ping is going through.

For testing purpose i also did a loop on M1 + M2 with a short cable. Both Module LED light up, but the status is still "detached".

The Switch was resettet more than one time to factory defaults to start with a clean config.

Has anyone an idea, how to proceed?

Greetings

    Hi CharlieRunkle,

    Kindly answer the questions below:

    a. Since you already did a factory reset, have you checked if the 10G ports Admin Mode is set to enable?

    b. Have you also tried doing a loop test on M1+M3, M1+M4, M2+M3, M2+M4 and M3+M4?

    c. Have you tried using the 10G ports before? If yes, was it working before?

I look forward to your response.  Welcome to the community! :smileyhappy:
