Netgear switch Prosafe GSM7328SO not working after Reset
Sir,
I am research assistant in university. I have Netgear Prosafe GSM7328SO switch.I was trying to get familiar with its functionality. I connected this switch to my computer with serial cable (ttyS0 with 115200 8N1). I was able to login to switch and explore it. Today, i pressed key while starting the switch while booting. I checked some U-Boot commands (Boot loader installed on my switch) and unfortunately, tried 'reset' command. After that i am unable to connect to the switch. I tried to hard reset as well as tried all baud rates (9600,11520 etc) in minicom for connection to switch but i am unable to get it working. please suggest the solution.
(Power LED is Yellow, Fan, M1, M2 LEDs are GREEN).
I will be thankful to you for you kind help.
Regards,
Sohaib Ayub

- msohaibayubAspirantDear Mizoguchi,
Thanks for your reply. I simply gave reset command on boot menu, is there any way to get switch working? I have searched boot issue on netgear forum. It simply says that 'reset' command revert switch back to its original setting for ip,buadrate etc. But in my case, switch does not working and its Power LED is showing that it is in POST state.
