Hi there
AGC761 is 1Gbps Direct Attach Cable with SFP connectors and it was delivered with each switch in the box. We don't have replacement cable but any 1Gbps DAC SFP-SFP will do.
It is not 10Gbps SFP+ DAC though. SFP+ Direct Attach Cable won't work in 1G SFP port. It must be 1G SFP DAC.
Alternatively, 1G SFP transceivers can be used with a fiber patch cable in between.

been told to use AGM731F plus fibre cables
i'm trying to find out if this would give the same advantages as stacking

Yes, you will configure the SFP ports as "Stacking Ports" and form the stack the same way.
