Cannot access GS110TPP after reset

I did try the Netgear Discovery Tool, but it didn't find any device either, and it also showed the 169.254.x.x address on my NIC.
The 169 address on your NIC is expected, since the switch doesn't have an dhcp server in it.
Did you try connecting the switch to your router? Then check the attached device list in the router config.
I believe the discovery method uses ethernet broadcast, so you might also need to disable any firewall/internet security software running on the PC.
I expected to be able to access the switch on http://192.168.0.239 or at least to be able to ping it.
Maybe try the Netgear Discovery Tool, and see what IP address it returns.
I performed multiple resets with different times of pressing the button (below 2 seconds, below 5, over 5, over 10, over 20).
