GS105 wont pass Broadband
Here is the issue. I have an ISP router (BT HUB 6) feeding broadband to a Netgear FS108 all works perfectly and I have a successful Broadband switched output from the other 7 ports.
One of these ports has 100m of CAT5 and when my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 (running windows 10) is connected it works perfectly with the network and internet available. However, if I connect a Netgear GS105 to this caable, and then conect the PC I do not get a broadband connection, even though the GS105 is receiving Broadband. Is ther a compatability issue between FS108 and GS105?

Hi SAR1,
Welcome to our community! :)
These switches are unmanaged or plug and play devices. I suspect your broadband doesn't recognize the new connection from the switch. You may try turning off first the broadband, then once it boots up, you may now turn on all the switches that you have. Kindly attach a network diagram for better understanding of your network.
