MS108EUP multi gig switch cannot update firmware from factory 1.0.0.7 to 1.0.1.6
Help! I am trying to update my MS108EUP from the website console after downloading the image from the Netgear website.
Factory firmware - 1.0.0.7
The process seems to start and the switch reboots but it still shows the same firmware
New Firmware to update to - 1.0.1.6

Have unpacked the ZIP archive first? There are two files in the archive:

2 Files, 9’142’624 BytesThat would be a good thought!! I downloaded it on my Apple Mac and it doesn't seem to be zipped in any way. Could that be my problem? Should it be downloaded on a Windows computer and unzipped there?
I downloaded it on my Windows computer and unzipped it. Still same issue. So this thing cannot update at all. I have already taken it out of Insight as it was added when I used the Netgear Switch Discovery Tool and I saw others suggesting to remove from this Insight discovery tool. So still no go.
Either way, MS108EUP_V1.0.1.6.zip -is- a zip archive indeed, containing the two files as shown before.
The extracted and stored file to be selected for upload is this one:
MS108EUP-V1.0.1.6-runtime.image
Amazing what overly smart desktop environments make out of file names.
The NSDT does not have any data storage, neither do these switches connect to Insight.
