WAC730 - Accessing user interface after installation

Apologies, but I am a novice when it comes to this, but....

I am trying to set up my WAC730 Access Point within my home network. I have configured the AP through my PC and now want to distribute it within my network, but I do not know how to reconfigure the AP so that I can access the GUI and set up any additional configurations within the AP when it has been relocated to the loft. I don't have a wireless controller and only want to log in to the AP using my desktop PC, within my home setup

My set up is as follows:

CAT 6 cables run from each room to a CAT 6 Patch Pannel in my loft

From the Patch Pannel, CAT 6 patch cable to my Netgear 24port switch (GS724Tv4)

Connected to GS724Tv4 via CAT 6 cable is my SKY router/modem, which is stationed downstairs by phone line (WiFi deactivated)

Connected to GS724Tv4 via CAT 6 cable is my Netgear NAS

Connected to GS724Tv4 via CAT 6 cable will be my new POE Switch GS510TP

Connected to my new POE Switch GS510TP via Cat 6 cable is the Ap WAC730

Any suggestions to the change of set up for the above is welcome.

Any odea on how I can set up the WAC730 so that I can access the GUI within my network is welcome

Also, I registered the WAC730 via the internet, but when I access the setup of the WAC730 when cnnected to my PC it keeps asking me to register the item. How can this be switched off?

Any guidance and info is much appreciated

Peter

    Hello Peter-G,

    Welcome to the community!

If you did not assign a static IP address to the access point, what you can do is to access the UI of your router and check its IP address table. You should be able to access the UI of the AP from any of the computers connected to your LAN.

Let us know if this helps.

    Thanks,

      Hi

My sincere apologies for the delay in replying, personal commitments (guests visiting!) so I was not able to check this out until now

      Yes, excellent it works.

I was able to also check this using Netgear Genie. Now able to access the AP

      Thanks very much
