Netgear Genie for Mac Installer can not be opened
I am running Mac OS 10.11.6. I'm running Netgear Genie version Version 2.4.22 for Mac OS. There is an Genie update available, 2.4.26, though when I download it, it won't install and I get a pop up stating: Netgeargenieinstaller can not be opened. No mountable file systems. It doesn't matter if I use the Genie app or if I download it from Netgear's website. Is the installer corrupted or something else? I have tried disabling anti-virus, tried everything I can think of. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. The downloaded install image for Genie version 2.4.26 is formatted in APFS format. It won't install on any older version of Mac OS than High Sierra, so the update description saying that 'minimum Mac OS version is 10.7.5' is wrong.

Just keeping the discussion alive as I have the same issue.
Any solutions Netgear ??
Thanks Abubasim,
That makes sense then. That explains why when the .dmg disk image tries to open there is no mountable file system to be found.
Thanks,

I am running Mac El Capitan (OS 10.11.6) and I am having the same problem. The installer refuses to open, offering up the same error message as mentioned here above.
