MR60 wireless devices connected to router can't ping each other or see shared directories
MR60 router firmware version V1.0.6.116
Two MS60 satellites firmware version V1.0.6.116
Here is the issue. All of my devices have Internet access and performance seems to be fine. However, two of my Macs (one iMac and one Macbook Pro) both connect to the router. They cannot "see" each other on the network (ping does not connect and I cannot connect to shared folders from one to the other). But both of these computers can see two other Macs that are connected to one of the satellites. And the Macs connected to the satellite can see both of the Macs that are connected to the router.
I have seen other discussions related to similar issues but didn't see anything that had my specific issue. I believe that I am running the latest firmware.
Any help is appreciated.
turning off Armor and then turning off the MR60 and MS60s worked. I am going to turn Armor back on and live with the issue for now. Thanks.

Does this happen over wireless and wired connections?
Is Armor enabled by chance?
There is a more recent FW version that you might try:
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the NightHawk MESH products for additional help and information:

Thanks for the feedback. It is only wireless devices that I am having an issue with. I have one wired device (my apple Time Capsule where my backups go) but all of the Macs seem to be able to see it to perform backups.
My route does not believe that there are any FW updates available. I know that I can update manually. How safe is it to upload that new version?
Thanks again.

Using a wired PC and web browser connected to the MR is recommended. First update the MS then MR lastly.
Did you turn OFF the MR and MS for 1 minute then back ON after disabling Armor?

And, yes, Armor is turned on. I will turn it off and see if it makes a difference.

turning off Armor made no difference. This is a minor annoyance at this time and don't want to brick my system by doing a manual firmware upload at this time.
