R6400 port forwarding help
I’m trying to portforwars to play Minecraft with friends but it doesn’t work I don’t know why. I literally entered in the port in the portforwarding tab and it doesn’t work. So I don’t know if there is something I need to turn on or off. Somebody please help!

- Click on the Advanced tab and look at the IP address under the Internet Port panel. That address must be a public IP address. If it's not, then there's another router upstream of the R6400. There could be a router in the modem or your ISP could be performing CGNAT. In either case, port forwarding won't work unless you can change the setup.
If you don't know whether the IP address is public or not, report back with the first half of the address.- BlitzcannonAspirant
My IPV4 address starts with 192.168..... and after researching i know that it is a private address from what other forums say but i dont know how to change that in the settings for my specific router
- Well, your R6400 is probably connected to a modem. Do you have the model number? That will help us determine if it has a router.
