ReadyNAS 102 - ReayCloud won't turn on.

Dear Support,

 

I see the old tread: https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyCLOUD/ReadyCloud-won-t-turn-on/m-p/1018938#M2041

 has been signed as closed.

 

Why?  The problem is not solved.

In the meantime I received the notification of a newer Firmware (6.4.2)

(the ReadyCloud issue was created by the ver. 6.4.1).

 

But the issue is still exacley the same.

After the .6.4.1 updat:

- all network configuration were messed-up

- the Webpage and Label Serial number didn't match anymore

- the ReadyCloud unable to be turned ON.

 

I bought your NAS due to the remote access to my files.

Now are already months that you created this problem and you discontinued a service which drove me to buy this device.

 

I would appreciate if you, after this quite long time, will offer a real solution.

    It was actually Synergie's thread (though you posted to it) - and the marked solution was for Synergie's problem (which is not the same as yours).  You can open a new thread for your problem.

     

    Also this is a community forum, not a Netgear support forum (though several Netgear support people are active here).

     

    Note that ReadyCloud is changing significantly in 6.5.0, you can see the details in the beta thread.

      Max_Maas I have sent you another PM.

      There is a fix we can apply to systems that run into this issue provided they are running 6.4.2 or later. I have let you know what I need to fix this.

      You should be able to turn on ReadyCLOUD again now.
