ReadyNAS 102 - ReayCloud won't turn on with Firmware 6.5.0

Hi,

I see the old tread: https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyCLOUD/ReadyCloud-won-t-turn-on/m-p/1018938#M2041
has been signed as closed.

Why? The problem is not solved.
In the meantime I received the notification of newer Firmwares (6.4.2,.. and now 6.5.0)
(the ReadyCloud issue was created by the ver. 6.4.1), but the issue is still exactly the same (with FW 6.5.0) :
After the 6.4.1 update, the Webpage and Label Serial number didn't match anymore and the ReadyCloud unable to be turned ON.


I would appreciate if NETGEAR support, after this quite long time, will offer a real solution.

 

While waiting for this moment, could you help me as you already did for other contributors? For that can you indicate me to which must I send my PM and which information need you for that?

  • This is a problem where if it occurs it needs to be fixed remotely. The fix should then survive firmware updates.

    Applied the correct serial number and rebooted. It appears to now be fixed.

    Hello Pleyro,

     

    That was closed by the original poster which just right. Not all ReadyNAS systems have this problem.

     

    Maybe PM mdgm to arrange a remote session and fix this.
