Viewing/browsing in ReadyCLOUD Portal not working

ReadyNAS Ultra2 Plus
RN OS 6.5.0
ReadyCLOUD Portal
Windows 10 Home

Hi

Browsing/previewing pictures (JPEG:s) over ReadyCLOUD Portal doesn't work.
Had this problem also with OS 6.4.2.
Using local network WIFI-access.

It's hard to show what happens with screenshots so I try with text instead.

Selecting a folder "Photos" with som JPEG:s within the share "Pictures".
Now all files are listed with the standard "Circle-Square-Triangle"-icon.
Go into preview-state from right-click menu of one of the files.
Now the right hand side with the "CST"-icon is refreshed to photo-style and gets enlarged,
but only the selected one, all the others remain CST:s.
Select next photo from the right hand side and now I only get a blank preview area.
From this moment something is broken.
It's now not possible to browse shares, always getting directed to the NAS-icon
with it's name "nas-xx-xx-xx".

Regards,
Ulf

    Hi mdgm

Browsing with MS Edge now working.
Solved with new 6.5.2 (beta) and MS Windows 10 update, don't know which did it.

    Hi uffgnu,

I answered your posts before and I tested this again but haven't duplicated the issues that you have. My ReadyNAS access via ReadyCLOUD had been flawless since the migration and update a week ago.

    2 laptops Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.

Web browsers like Google Chrome version 50.0.2661.102m and MS Edge 25.10586.0.0.

Had 20 plus photos in one of the shares (under the data volume) that I have R/W access.

    Kind regards,

      Hi BrianL

Thank's for your response. To bad you could not repeat the things I found.

I tested some things but with no luck; router settings, Windows administrator/standard account, WIFI/wired-PC:s.
One thing that did a small difference for a short moment was by selecting "Stay signed in" when signing in with readycloud.netgear.com,
then I could preview a couple of more JPEG:s before I got to the broken state.

  • Hi

I have to add that the problem is with MS Edge, working fine with MS Internet Explorer.
A Microsoft/Netgear problem or some browser settings?

      Hi uffgnu14,

Thanks for the providing feedback. What is the version of MS Edge installed in your Windows 10 PC? Are you getting the same behavior on your other machines (PC? MAC?)

      Kind regards,

        Hi BrianL

The version is MS Edge 25.10586.0.0 with MS EdgeHTML 13.10586 (10586 is about W10 OS version i think) on both PC:s.
I'm getting the same behavior on WIFI-PC1 and wired-PC2.
The PC:s are up to date configured using W10:s automatic updates.

        Regards
        Ulf
