Corrupt boot - Factory Reset not working

Awesome information; So even though my model sticker on the bottom of it says RND2000 v2. It appears (at least according to the link you provided) to actually be a V1, this may be the issue at hand. I'll download the manuals for the v1 and see where tha gets me.
Does RAIDar tell you "no disks" if you power up with no disks installed?
Also, if you have a Windows PC you should probably run the vendor disk diags (seatools for seagate, lifeguard for western digital),
