The charge % and time remaining match that of the display on the UPS. The ReadyNas will properly shutdown too.

Do you have to do anything besides enable it in Frontview? I didn't know what to put in that blank box for other hosts...?
In Frontview go to the SYSTEM > POWER menu. Here you can set the threshold for the NAS to shutdown.
These settings will shutdown devices connected to the UPS. Not the UPS itself.
Ok, right now its set to AUTO, what does that mean? How does it automatically work? Should I change it to a certain time instead? What do you recommend?
What is the next thing under that for, the empty box for a host name? - claykinAspirantReadynas allows you to set the threshold before the NAS shutsdown on low battery. its in percentage 10-90%. Not sure how Netgear specified the AUTO setting, but I suspect they have some calculation that watches time up decay and determines how much time is required to shutdown the NAS. Just a guess. If you are concerned, then select a percentage. I recommend you don't go below 20% as batteries can fall flat fast as they age.
The host name option allows you to have other devices such as a Windows PC monitor the UPS connected to the NAS. This is for people who want to remote monitor the NAS or want to connect a PC and Readynas to a single UPS.
