Drives "locked" after being in ReadyNAS. HELP!!!
c3po wrote:
You may unlock disk yourself, the procedure would be:
1. Unlock drive using user password first.
2. Disable password using admin password.
The passwords we use for admin and user both are:for i=0:15
password = 0xbeef + i; // 2-byte short word
We use big-endian while Intel uses little-endian, so password
on PC may be: 0xefbe, 0xf0be, ... Sorry for picking up beef as password.
i have the same problem with locked drives..
seems im too stupid, i dont get it with the admin/user password
how do i get the password? :(
please help me

Do not revive threads that have been dead for almost 6 years. Open a new thread linking to an old thread if you think it's relevant.
Is this with your ReadyNAS Pro?
So you removed some drives from your ReadyNAS Pro and couldn't use them in your PC because they were locked?
