Hardware warranty with shipped drives versus updated ones

The chassis warranty isn't linked to the drive warranty. So if you change out the drives, you would still get the same chassis warranty you'd have if you'd purchased diskless.
Overall, it's generally a bit cheaper to purchase diskless, and it also allows you to choose the drives you want to use.
