NV+ to Pro
I have a ReadyNas NV+ 4 disc unit and a Pro 6 disc unit. The NV+ is older and I want to get a second Pro to replace it and get more storage space.
Can I take the NV+ discs and put them into the Pro to save migrating data across my network?
I've seen some conflicting info on the forum, so I'm not sure if the disc swap is possible (would prefer that over moving the data).
Thanks for the help.

You can surely reuse the disks, however you must move the data across the network (or to usb drives) if you wish to keep it.
The pro will *not* read the nv+ disks, they will be erased and reformatted.- ReadySECUREApprenticeTeknoJnky is correct. I only want to add that you should cross reference the Hardware compatibility list to ensure that your NV+ disks are in fact usable with the Pro. here is the link for your reference: http://www.readynas.com/?page_id=82
