readynas 102 serial number none0002000000 why!!!!!!
i got my readynas from ebay and it has the serial number in the back but on the readycloud web interface it says none0002000000. please help i want to fix this also i try to register it and it says serial number has been registered already.

The warranty only applies to new units, so netgear won't let you register a used one.

- So basically I can use everything on the box I just can't get support for it I will have to look for the answers online
The warranty is for the original purchaser only.
Regarding the serial number not showing up in the web admin UI and ReadyCLOUD not working as a result I have sent you a PM.I can't connect.
Can you boot the NAS to tech support mode (http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/22892/~/how-do-i-access-the-boot-menu-on-my-readynas-102,-202,-212-or-312%3F) and let me know the 5-digit number that you then get?the nas is on and i went to support and it gave me the number i sent you
