Videos folder problem

HI,

I'm an owner of a ReadyNAS 104 installed with 4 x 4tb HDD's and using the latest firmware 6.10.3

I have a problem with the videos folder and also the sub folders inside of it.

the issue is that i got folders that are showing and the true fact i deleted them, but somehow are still there when i use my Phillips TV/ playstation3 and playstation 4. and i got files inside that are not showing too and infact are there.

when i log into the ReadyNAS 104 with my mac via network or webbrowers everything seems fine, deleted folder are gone and hidden files are there, no problem.

Please can anyone help me becuase this issue is driving me crazy. it looks like i sync issue but i can't sort it out.

Thanks

Joseph

  • What method is the TV using to access the NAS?  ReadyDLNA?  Plex?  It sounds like you need to run a database update on whichever it is.  I don't run either, but somebody else is sure to know how to accomplish that if you post which you use.

Go into system->services->settings->ReadyDLNA and click on the rescan button.
