I am on the firmware 6.6.1 and will upgrade to firmware 6.9.3 sometimes next week.&nbsp;

I want to get the instructions on how to restore the previous firmware to be prepared, in case the new firmware causes an issue for us.&nbsp;

Got it.&nbsp; I don't work for Netgear, but they will almost certainly say what's already in their release notes:&nbsp;&nbsp;

Devices updated with 6.9.3 firmware should not be downgraded to firmware versions before 6.9.0.

&nbsp;
In the specific case of 6.9.x, they've made changes to the boot loader to include a safe mode.&nbsp; So I think downgrading would be problematic.
&nbsp;
I do recommend having a full backup of your data before upgrading from 6.6.1.
&nbsp;
