Problem with RAIDar 6.1 and Windows 10
I've got myself a new PC with Windows 10
I have installed te Raidar 6.1 version. When i start it, it finds the Netgear ReadyNas duo v2.
It reports correct the drives in it and the IP address of the NAS. and the firmwareversion of the NAS, 4.1.14
But, When i try to go to the management environment, i've got an Error, saying that there is no access to the NAS ??
Please check your network environment ?
When i go to the Explorer, i can see all the computers connected, the drives and the Netgear ReadyNas Duo
In my Network environment i see all the shares and the Maps and Directorys in this NAS
I can connect and get acces to all the share, maps and files, No problem
How can i fix this problem so i can get access to the management environment with Raidar again ??
RAIDar 6.1 is the latest version - but Netgear is more focused on OS6 NAS than older end-of-life NAS. There are some issues with RAIDar 6.x and the legacy NAS.
The simplest answer is to use RAIDar 4.3.8 with your older NAS.

When i check the label on the bottom of the ReadyNas, it tells me : Readynas Duo RND2000 V2
I know. But it still is a duo v1. Ready the link I posted, it explains the labeling. Calling it a v2 can result in getting wrong advice here.

Can you send some screenshots of
1) RAIDar
2) The message you're receiving specifically from the browser

You have a duo v1 (duo v2 runs 5.3.x firmware). The label is confusing - see this for more details: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/

What happens if you open your web browser, and enter
https://ipaddress-of-nas/admin
When i check the label on the bottom of the ReadyNas, it tells me : Readynas Duo RND2000 V2
Last week i upgraded the firmware to version 4.1.14 becuase of the problems i run in the afther
i connect this Nas with my new PC
If i access the management environmet manual bij put in HTTPS:// < Ip address>>/admin in the browser
ik works normaly and when i accept the message, sayintg the the certificate is not valid, i can log in
and access the management environment.
In the meantime i've download the old version of RAIDar, 4.3.8 and that works normally ???
But when i seurch the support site of Netgear it tells me that version 6.1 is the last version ?
See also the message below
as requested some pictures o
