ReadyNas Ultra 4 stuck on booting (though boot menu is working)

Out of the blue, my ReadyNAS Ultra 4 stopped working.  Upon powering off and on again, it is stuck on booting.  RAIDar can't find the device, and it does not respond to pings.  I can reach the Boot Menu.  However, regardless of the option I choose, it ends up with "Booting..." and nothing else happens.  I tried to use the following modes, all without success: OS Reinstall, Skip Volume Check, and Factory Default. Every time I select an option, the display switches to "Booting..." and nothing else happens.

I bought the ReadyNAS in March 2012, and up to today, everything worked fine.  I have no idea what the issue might be...  So any help would be very much appreciated.

There could be a bad disk.

Can you power down, remove the disks (label order) and connect the disks up to your PC and test them (e.g. test SeaGate disks using SeaTools and WD disks using WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostics)?

I have tested the disks and they seem fine.  I've tried to factory reset the ReadyNAS with each disk separately, but the device still does nothing but boot...

Perhaps run the memory test boot menu option for at least a few passes.
