Hi,
I’m new user here because I have problem whit my ReadyNas 102
Can't connect to the web-interface (web admin panel). Installed and uninstalled the ReadyNAS Photos II app.
Already tried to instal the new beta firmware 6.2.3 with the boot menu but no luck
I hope someone here can help me.

OK So I have fixed my issue without having to go to the linux level
If you have set up a readycloud account, you can log in there and upgrade your firmware remotely.
This worked for me, I hadn't thought of this until Netgear informed me that my readycloud account was going to close and once I got in I upgraded the firmware and now I can access the admin page through the network

Yes, there are other options (which are more involved) too such as:
1. Power down ReadyNAS
2. Remove disks (label order)
3. Insert scratch disk (must not be from the array)
4. Update firmware
5. Verify firmware update successful
6. Power down
7. Remove scratch disk
8. Put disks back in same order as before and power on

Hi
I am in the same case.
ReadyNas works fine to access the file but impossible to access the admin interface.
Too bad you send the trick to restore it in PM :)
Thanks for your help,
Mickael
- Tomasz555AspirantHi there! I seem to be having this problem too after uninstalling an app. Everything works fine but I cant access the web admin page. Is there a way to fix it without factory reset?
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredSeeing you have SSH access,
# journalctl -a | grep apache2 | tail -n 20
# cd /etc/apache2/sites-enabled
# ls
# rm *shell*
# systemctl restart apache2- rayzaAspirant
I have the same problem
I am unable to ssh into the system but can boot the readynas 102 into boot mode and telnet in using putty
When i try
# cd /etc/apache2/sites-enabled
I get
-sh: cd: can't cd to /etc/apache2/sites-enabled
when I check the contents of /etc apache2 is not there
if I try
# journalctl -a | grep apache2 | tail -n 20
I get the response
-sh: journalctl: not foundnot sure what else I can do :(

Did you mount the OS partition?
- tsanduAspirantHi mdgm.. think I seen you on whirpool... are you able to update the post with the fix, as seems many people having same issues and pulling there hair out as cant find a solution.. I am in same boat..admin screen worked few hours ago.. uninstalled shell in a box.. now no more admin screen... arghh not a good start to a new product. :(
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWe have a method to do this via a low-level diagnostic mode.
In any case when I fix this problem currently I remove the broken symlink, I don't update the firmware. - robrubTutor

Hi
How can you update the OS when you cannot acces the admin page ? I had to do a factory reset and then do the update of the OS.
