UK promotion - Claimed free disk but no response so far
Hi,
Sorry if a bit off topic, but anybody here successfully claimed the free disk as per UK promotion scheme? I bought a ReadyNas RND 2110 in August and submitted the claim form for a free 1T disk, the required invoice/barcode enclosed. No disk came within 1 month. Now I have sent two inquiry emails to ukpromotions@uk.netgear.com, but no one bother to respond to my emails.
Any suggestions? Or should I chase the retailer instead?

The UK team is trying to catch up on the back log. I've made them well aware of the issue. They are waiting on stock of the HDDs. I have asked them to try and reply to your submissions, for acknowledge of receipt. - BritBratAspirantThanks.

isn't this all the more reason they should be replying to our mails rather than twiddle their thumbs waiting for the hard disks to arrive ? :evil: - chirpaLuminaryI will check with them again today, try to get them to give some kind of response.

- PongoAspirantIf Netgear are not careful, they'll end up with a rash of UK small claims court actions to deal with.
Its one thing to completely mess up a promotion, but its extremely ignorant and risky to not even bother to reply to polite enquiries from affected customers. Why not simply change that silly email auto-response message to at least provide an apology and an explanation - instead of inviting further queries to the same email address in an endless auto-reply loop?!
